14” x 21”
This print combines hand set letterpress with various copper etching techniques. The imagery is inspired by personal memories of adolescent spaces; the types of spaces that otherwise do not get used at all, such as underneath a bridge, behind a garage, within the empty cart tents in a stripmall parking lot. The text is taken from Proust’s “Swann’s Way “ which is a timeless description of the nature and experience of memory which partially inspired this piece.
